Brown Corundum
Brown corundum (aluminum oxide) is fused and crystallized under high temperature from a mixture of bauxite and other and other raw materials. It is characterized by high thermal strength, good oxidation resistance, good erosion resistance, good wear-resistance, high hardness, good toughness and good sharpness. It can be used as row materials of sandblasting casting or grinding tools which are suitable for grinding metals with high-tensile strength such as carbon steel, general-purpose alloy steel, annealed malleable iron and hard braze etc… It is wildly adopted especially for refractory making.
