α-β Casted Corundum Bricks
α-β Casted Corundum Bricks are produced by melted and casted high purity alumina in electric furnace at 2000 C. α-β corundum material is formed when α-alumina and β-alumina inter-combined during their crystallization stage to form a very compact structure. They have excellent endurance against strong alkali. Under 1350 C, their corrosion resistance against melted glass is the same as AZS products’. Because they hardly contain Fe2O3 and TiO2 impurities, when they contact with melted glass, air bubbles are rarely formed. Therefore, they have the excellent characteristic of minimizing contamination to glass. They are very suitable for sidewalls, pond bottoms, fore-hearth feeders of slap-up glass kiln.

α Casted Corundum Bricks are mainly on α aluminum crystal phase with very compact organizational structure, the refractoriness and high temperature structure strength are high, and high temperature chemical stabilization is good, which are applied to cooling pool and superstructure of glass kiln, as well as non-ferrous metal smelting furnace and high-temperature tunnel kiln, etc.
β 剛玉電鑄磚
β casted corundum is made of 100% β corundum, has strong resistance to desquamation, especially to strong alkaline stream. This product does not contain impurities that may contaminate glass liquor. They are excellent to be used on top of the structure where less scattered glass material powder exists.
耐磨電鑄磚
Wear resistance casted bricks are made of high-grade bauxite and Australia imported zircon sand, which are melted and founded in high temperature electric furnace. It is mainly used in areas that require high abrasion and temperature resistance, such as gliding rail bricks in steel pusher metallurgical furnaces, the tapping platform (tapping spout) for tapping platform (tapping spout) style walking beam furnaces, and also as the interior for destructors.
